Falklands Garrison Royal Marine Ref: 828

Commissioned by the Falklands Garrison Mess to commemorate the Falklands' conflict. Peter Hicks Ltd believe this statue to be the only true statue of that moment. Unlike others that have been produced the main areas of interest have been: the optical sites on the SLR; the long thick/thin modified SLR sling; the DMS boots and putties and finally the radio set - other known depictions are based on the statue outside the RM museum in Southsea which was not, we understand, meant to represent that moment but to represent a Royal Marine of that era.
