 Intellingence Corps Plate on the rear reads: THE ROYAL FUSILIERS AND INT CORPS IN WWI
The 10th Bn, The Royal Fusiliers was used as a cover and administrative Bn for those who served in the "Intelligence Corps". Officers were commissioned into the Regiment or into the General Service Corps. Officers employed on intelligence duties wore green patches with a band. Soldiers wore an armlet with "IC" with R Fus cap badge if they had no parent unit. Officers were not administered by 10th Bn.
