The 'In Pensioner' (or Chelsea Pensioner) statue was commissioned, in sterling silver, by The Royal Hospital Chelsea as their official wedding present to HRH The Princes of Wales and his bride, The Lady Diana Spencer (who became HRH The Princess of Wales). The royal marriage took place on on 29th July 1981.

Approximate height (including the base): 280 mm.
