THE GURKHA MUSEUM - AYO GURKHALI COLLECTION (EDITION TWO)
The original busts were sculptured by Robert Jones in 2011 and these 150 mm (6 inch) high, individually numbered and made to individual specification in either bronze resin or Britannic silver plate (with a Sheffield Assay hallmark). The Ayo Gurkhali Collection offers a unique opportunity to acquire a most tasteful piece or a bespoke set to celebrate the Brigade of Gurkhas and its history. Commissioned by the Gurkha Museum Curator with the proceeds going to the Gurkha Welfare Trust and Gurkha Museum Trust.
Badges for the Hat Felt Gurkha and Hat Kilmarnock and the base badge may be selected when purchasing on line. On the reverse of the base is a flat surface upon which an inscription plaque may be placed if given as a presentation or can be fitted to a base.
Individual statues come with a 'Letter of Provenance', a biography of the Sculptor and details of the history and background of the particular hat.
